Operating from an armoured vehicle; duties include armed escorting of money and valuables to and from banking institutions and private businesses. This role was a 4 on 4off 12 hr shift basis. Duties included; â— Monitoring CCTV â— Controlling digital 2 way communications and phone calls â— Deputy Chief Fire Warden/ acting Chief Fire Warden after hours â— Shift hand overs to oncoming shift â— Actioning emails â— Writing reports. Both hand written and electronically â— Monitoring Fire Indicator panel (FIP) â— Controlling Warden Intercom (WIP) phone traffic in emergency situations and drills â— Liaising with emergency services (Police, Fire and Ambulance) â— Controlling medical emergencies and rendering first aid when required â— Making and issuing access cards â— Issuing of keys and keeping accurate paperwork â— Having knowledge of company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) â— Sound knowledge of the building layout â— Patrols and safety audits â— Leading teams of up to 20 guards and also acting part of anther tem while covering shifts
