    Postal delivery officer/ Team leader: My role in Australia Post consists of arranging unsorted mail into delivery route order and delivering mail. My role also involves assisting team members to complete their mail sorting with required time frames for transport out to pick up points. My delivery role also consisted of customer service when delivering to businesses, registered mail and packages. In october 2013 I moved into a senior postal delivery position; My role as a SPDO was relieving in task of a Postal Delivery officer in where required to backfill organisational vacancies, for daily sick leave or ARL leave. This role involved flexibility and adaptability and a higher level of knowledge of Brisbane south area as commonly going to different route each day. And assisting the team manager to ensure daily tasks and deadline are accomplished to ensure community standards and expectations are upheld. through out my time as aSPDO I happily assisted my manager by relieving in the Team Leaders role for daily sick leave and short-term Annual leave. The role of a Team leader within Australia Post involved managing a team of mail slotters, Postal Delivery Officers and Direct Delivery officers. I was to ensure the team reached the daily deadlines through effective allocation of resources, ensure all essential mail was delivered daily and non-essential mail distributed over the week span. I was also responsible for time management of preparation and delivery of routes, ensuring equipment and resources were available to staff at the delivery depot and basic human resource management of these staff, e.g. performance management, short term leave management, staff development.

Due to recognised performances and experiences with diverse cultures I was moved to the new store in Inala to assist manager with establishing business and community relations.     Retail Assistant / Forklift Driver: My current role in a small format Bunnings store involves customer service, trade orders, merchandising stock, cleaning and presenting my area and replenishing and maintaining correct stock levels. until these events I was casual working full time hours in the builder's section which incorporates trade, builders' products, builder's hardware, flooring, plumbing and timber sections. Through previous knowledge and Bunnings training I have become recognised as an expert in Builders products, Plumbing and Flooring. As with a majority of team I relieve as required as a register operator to this role includes cash, credit and trade account management also previously worked at trade registers. I regularly relieve in the Goods inwards and receiving team as for first nearly 6 years of my career I worked in timberyard and loading docks area at a mega store this role includes forklift and hand unloading / loading delivery vehicles and completion of relevant receiving / dispatch paperwork, check all stock against invoice prior to receiving /dispatching, enter data into the electronic register and replenishment, merchandising and presenting stock in the store. All roles at Bunning require a high focus on customer service and satisfaction and team work to achieve our organisational and budgetary goals. I believe return business is the key to retail success.

    Various positions: I worked in the youth justice branch of the Department of communities. initially as a youth worker, my career progressed into senior youth worker roles, shift supervisor, programs and operational managers position. In 2011 i moved to community recovery into logistics management role for our state disaster of brisbane flood and cyclone Yasi. post these vents i decided to take a different path with my career and not return to justice.
