This included cold calling, attending markets and festivals. Product information was a necessity as well as being able to sell the product to people who had never tried it before and had preconceived ideas. Being a new business I had to deal with all start up procedures and practices and learn as I went along. This involved everything from office work, printing and design, and designing promotional material as well as writing safe food procedures.
