    Driver/Food Rescuer/Brand Ambassador: Oz Harvest is a not for profit who specialises in rescuing surplus food and delivering to agencies who support people in need. My duties as a driver were to follow set runs rescuing quality food from donors, sorting and loading food into refrigerated vans, then delivering the food to designated charities, who then redistribute the food to people in need within the local community. My responsibilities involve: - Being the face of Oz Harvest, being professional, and building relationships with donors and charities, providing excellent customer service. - Working with operations and logistics staff to improve processes and make recommendations to assist in the efficient operation of food rescue. Additionally, I worked in Operations assisting with Food Rescue operations. My duties consisted of: - Operating logistics application Crittah. - Taking phone calls and liaising with food donors to coordinate food donations and pickups, lodging food donations and allocating jobs to drivers, updating and maintaining donor and charity details within the Crittah database, update and maintain driver's notes and mapping. - Monitor and provide assistance to drivers with daily pickup and delivery needs, information and challenges. - Training and assessing new drivers and assisting current drivers. - Worked within a team to reduce the charity waiting list (to receive OzHarvests services) from approximately 110 to 65 agencies. - Worked within a team to contact, invite and co-ordinate the attendance of over 1200 people from Ozharvest's agencies and their clients to the annual OzHarvest CEO Cook Off. - Sorting and analysing data relating to 'food collected' and 'food delivered' in an effort to reduce variances and improve accuracy of data. Furthermore, I worked in the warehouse: - Operating the forklift, helping drivers load and unload the vans. Sorting produce and stock, cleaning and organising the warehouse, various repairs and maintenance around the warehouse, setting up of equipment for events held at Oz Harvest.
