  Reece Plumbing

  Trades Sales/Warehouse/Forklift/Driver: My position at Reece includes a number of roles which incorporate trade counter sales, warehousing and stock control, inward goods, forklift driver, unloading and loading of delivery vehicles, delivery driver, maintaining the yard.   The Sydney Boathouse

  Marina Attendant: The Sydney Boathouse is a dry boat storage facility that offers a valet type service to boat owners, which includes secured storage of vessels, launch and retrieval of vessels to and from the water and vessels docked within the marina ready for customer use. My role as a marina attendant is to work to a schedule within a team environment, launching and retrieving customers vessels, washing, flushing and fuelling of vessels. Together with a spotter and the rest of the team, I drive the forklift, drive boats, wash boats, maintain the marina, provide exceptional customer service.

  Paramount Liquor

  MR Delivery Driver: Paramount is a wholesale liquor distribution company and my role as a delivery driver is to deliver alcohol to various venues, mainly within the Sydney CBD and surrounding areas. Driving a 7-tonne truck I am responsible for: - Sorting daily run. - Hand loading and unloading cartons and kegs. - 25-35 multi drop deliveries per day. - Providing courteous and professional customer service. - Working within a team environment. - Completing relevant paperwork.

  Oz Harvest

  Driver/Food Rescuer/Brand Ambassador: Oz Harvest is a not for profit who specialises in rescuing surplus food and delivering to agencies who support people in need. My duties as a driver were to follow set runs rescuing quality food from donors, sorting and loading food into refrigerated vans, then delivering the food to designated charities, who then redistribute the food to people in need within the local community. My responsibilities involve: - Being the face of Oz Harvest, being professional, and building relationships with donors and charities, providing excellent customer service. - Working with operations and logistics staff to improve processes and make recommendations to assist in the efficient operation of food rescue. Additionally, I worked in Operations assisting with Food Rescue operations. My duties consisted of: - Operating logistics application Crittah. - Taking phone calls and liaising with food donors to coordinate food donations and pickups, lodging food donations and allocating jobs to drivers, updating and maintaining donor and charity details within the Crittah database, update and maintain driver's notes and mapping. - Monitor and provide assistance to drivers with daily pickup and delivery needs, information and challenges. - Training and assessing new drivers and assisting current drivers. - Worked within a team to reduce the charity waiting list (to receive OzHarvests services) from approximately 110 to 65 agencies. - Worked within a team to contact, invite and co-ordinate the attendance of over 1200 people from Ozharvest's agencies and their clients to the annual OzHarvest CEO Cook Off. - Sorting and analysing data relating to 'food collected' and 'food delivered' in an effort to reduce variances and improve accuracy of data. Furthermore, I worked in the warehouse: - Operating the forklift, helping drivers load and unload the vans. Sorting produce and stock, cleaning and organising the warehouse, various repairs and maintenance around the warehouse, setting up of equipment for events held at Oz Harvest.

  Student: at Petersham TAFE and completed it with distinction. I applied for University in 2011 and was accepted into The University of Newcastle as a mature age student. February 2012, I moved from Sydney to the Central Coast to study a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the Ourimbah Campus. I engaged in various part time roles whilst studying. March 2014, I moved back to Sydney seeking more opportunity.

  Courier: My role was to maintain a priority courier service within the Sydney CBD delivering AM airfreight, making 35-55 deliveries daily, followed by 10-15 pick-ups in the afternoon. In this position: - I provided a high level of customer service while working to very tight deadlines. - Consistently maintained the company's expected service failure rate of less than 1%. - Worked within a team environment and independently. - Developed good relationships with customers. - Obtained a Certificate II in Transport & Distribution and a Statement of Attainment in Aviation Security (RACA 1 & RACA 3). - Transport & Distribution Bluecard.

  Owner driver/ Courier

  Self Employed: Operated a business in London providing transport services to the events industry and express freight industry. Within the events industry I worked at locations such as the London Fashion Show, St. James Palace, Kensington Palace, country estates, private residences in the West End and so on. This typically involved: • The preparation and transportation of catering equipment, furniture, props, lighting, food and beverages to the venue. • Working as a team to set up the venue ready for the event usually within tight deadlines. • Working behind the scenes to ensure the event was executed according to the clients’ needs. • Bumping out of the venue at the completion of the event. Within the express freight industry, I provided an outside hire service to express freight companies assisting during busy periods and when their resources were limited. I was responsible for clearing excess overnight freight and delivering across Greater London.

  Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical): Completed a four-year apprenticeship and gained a trade qualification as an Aircraft Mechanical Engineer. My duties were to carrying out periodic inspections, maintenance, modifications and repairs to various general aviation aircraft, including: Piper, Cessna, Beechcraft and King Air.
