    Gantry Crane Operator: As a Gantry Crane Operator I was responsible for craning concrete rebar of various shapes, sizes and lengths. Using the crane to clear the machines used for shaping and cutting the bar, putting orders and packs together in their allocated areas, loading and unloading trucks and flats (shipping container bases). I also assisted with forklift operation and truck driving where required.

Once old enough I got my heavy vehicle license and started doing pickups of metal bins, loose scrap and scrap cars with the tilt tray, hook truck, Marrell truck and crane trucks.
