Operations Manager: August 12 2015 - 21 October 2015 - HUB Operations Manager - Cahill Transport, Brisbane I was contacted by Daniella Saumatua, Cahill Transport HR Manager and interviewed for the above role. I was also interviewed by the General manager, Stephen Alexander. I was appointed to the role on the 11 August 2015. I was advised that Cahill Transport were going through some turbulent structural changes and that challenges lay ahead of which I was quite confident of taking on the challenge. The Role - HUB Operations Manager encompassed * Managing all on site Safety in accordance with OHS and COR (Chain of responsibility) * All day to day operational responsibilities for 22 Transport and Warehouse staff * Responsible for efficient loading and unloading of both Interstate and local allocations * Managing all Warehouse input and outgoing stock accuracy * Managing clear lines of communication between other HUB managers in other states. (NSW, VIC, SA, NT, WA) Unfortunately due to events outside of my control, my role was terminated on the October 21 2015. I am quite happy to elaborate further at any formal interview which may take place. Thoroughly enjoyed the role during my tenure.

Transport Supervisor: June 2015 - Actively Seeking Employment Due to the downturn in Crane/Transport work in the Brisbane region it has been necessary to reduce staff numbers and unfortunately I have been made redundant after almost 5 years with LCR. This has resulted in the division that I was a part of being put in Care and Maintenance until such a time the business outlook improves.

Project Manager: May 2011 - August 2014 Recruited direct from New Zealand into the role of Project Operations manager for LCR Group Ltd. I was in the role for 3.5 yrs reporting directly to Scott Story, General Manager to 2012 and currently Phil Borg, General Manager, Central Queensland operations - Current. My role encompasses managing the Coal haulage operations of 2 mine sites (Jellinbah mine and Yarrabee mine) with a compliment of 74 staff to meet the client's requirements. My responsibilities include and are not limited to the following * Safety and Health o Manage all operations as per the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999 o Manage and maintain all Client and LCR Group Ltd Safety Health management system for the entire operation. o Influence and Implement change to improve and promote Safety awareness. o Conduct regular Site Health and Health meetings with employee representatives o Lead all Incident investigations and follow up all Corrective actions o Facilitate timely and accurate reporting to all LCR and Client recipients * Staff management o Manage and oversee all Administration duties o Manage and influence Maintenance management Personnel and Systems o Mentor and influence all Haulage Supervisors o Oversee 62 Operational staff * Client Relationships o Manage and maintain a collaborative working relationship with the Site senior executives (SSE) for both mine sites and their nominated representatives. o Manage and Influence client KPI realization through sound communications o Participate in required Risk assessments to improve overall performance * Full P&L responsibility across 2 operations o Influence and manage aspects of the operation to meet and exceed LCR and Client expectations to achieve Rail KPI targets of 5.0 million KT (Jellinbah) and 3.2 million KT per annum o Manage all Profit and Loss for both operations with a key emphasis on * Labour * Fuel * Tyres 4 * Inventory management * Maintenance o Implement and Influence process improvement initiatives across the entire operation by utilizing Lean principles o Manage Daily, Weekly and monthly reconciliations to meet LCR and client invoicing
