Carina Site Operations Manager: 2013 (Nov) - 2014 (May) Goodman Fielder Australia Carina Site Operations Manager Change the Direction and Culture of a Site (Redundant due to current Financial Position of GF) 6 Direct Reports - Safety Coordinator, QA Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Maintenance Manager, Logistics Manager (included Procurement) and Administration Manager. Total Site Staff - 170, comprising of 6 manufacturing lines operating in shifts which supplied a market 24 x 7. Fully responsible for taking a site with extremely high Operational Cost's to a Site which is now the Leading Manufacturing Site in the Group with a full commitment to change. The site has reduced running cost by Two Million Dollars annualised, this was achieved by working with all manufacturing Teams to share a common goal and implant the direction which is required for the company to stay competitive. Capital Spend - $3 m, R & M Budget - $3.6 m (including R & M Building), Manufacturing Labour Budget $2.5 (reduced to $1.2 annualised), Logistic Labour Budget $3.8 m. Training - $100k, QA Audits and Training $250k and Procurement Cost to be reduced to BOM costs as per SAP.

Continuous Improvement Manager: 2012 (Sept) - 2013 (Nov) Allied Flour Mills Continuous Improvement Manager (new position) Gordon Wooler Confidential Resume Confidential Resume Standardising all Manufacturing sites to a consistent Tracking module (Head Hunted to take up a role at Goodman Fielder) No Direct Staff Responsibilities (This Position was required to reduce running costs across all sites by $1 mill in the first 12 months, this was achieved) Responsible for the standardisation of tracking, recording and monitoring of 12 milling sites, Currently each site records and monitors their own sites performance however the results do not show a true reflection of overall OEE. A redesigned tracking module has been implemented across 50% of the manufacturing sites, this monitoring and tracking has achieved an overall increase in production output of 20% across the sites these sites. Working with the major Milling sites to set up a framework of standard formatting control sheet in strategic areas across each site, this will set the standard of measuring the effectiveness of each Mill. Work with Power Retailers and Network Providers to reduce power cost at each site. Changing the manufacturing hours to ensure the bulk of manufacturing is "not running" during Peak Demand has reduced energy costs by 15% (average across all sites). Work with the Government on the reporting of Energy usage and Reduction Plans to present to the "Energy Efficiency Opportunities" (EEO) commission. This area is a strategic planning to report energy reductions to the Government monitoring body. Work with suppliers to fine alternative power resources. (Solar, Cogeneration & Tri-generation) Work with consultants in setting up control and monitoring format documentation which will standardise the control of 3 frozen manufacturing sites. Work within Teams to formalise a Standard Requirement for the selection of a "New Artesian Baking Plant" which will ensure the supply of products to all customer needs Work with new site during the acquisition to ensure a consistent supply of product to major customers and ensure staff at the new site were engaged and support the acquisition. Regional Process Manager and Operations Manager: May 2009 - Dec 2009 Regional Process Manager and Operations Manager (Temporary Position) 8 Direct Reports - Safety Manager, QA Manager, 2 x Manufacturing Managers, 2 x Maintenance Managers, Logistic Manager and Administration Manager. Total site staff - 210 staff operating on 5 manufacturing line. Malaga was the only manufacturing plant of Goodman Fielder in WA, the site was finding it difficult to find process staff due to the high employment of the mining industry. This site was not achieving budget due to low morale, low efficiency and high waste. My role responsibilities included, • Stabilising the work force. • Identify the actual position of the manufacturing site. • Setting a structure of Team Leaders, Supervisors & Managers. • Controlling Labour, product waste, maintenance, plant inefficiencies and purchases from third parties. • Effective control of the manufacturing process flow. Achievements After the implementation of the new management structure, which increased moral and gave accountability (KRI's/KPI's), the following was achieved, • Reduction in LTI's by 60% • Reduction in production waste reduce by 6% • Reduction in labour cost by 35% • Reduction in material cost by 25% • Increase in plant efficiency by 40% • Stop third party purchasing. Capital Budget $1 mill, reduce all budgets by 30%. July 2008 - May 2009 Greenfield Site Consultant/Project Manager Goodman Fielder decided to have a new manufacturing site built in Queensland which would meet the demands of its customers, now and into the future. As the consultant, my role was to, • Worked within a team to design the footprint of a building which would house the manufacturing plants. • Ensure the capability of the equipment meet the sales requirements of the state. • Write the specification for all processing equipment. • Design the layout of the processing equipment with suppliers. • Ensure the process flow went in the correct direction, this would then limit the footprint size. • Understand the environmental impact required by the state & federal legislation. • Meet with all tenders (suppliers) to ensure there was a full understanding of the requirements. • Evaluate all proposals submitted during the tender process. • Work with the team to finalise the tendering process. • Work with the companies which were successful in the tender to finalise the requirement which would achieve the budget constraints. Ensuring the capabilities of the site meet the standards presented to the Board of Directors. Achievement Presented a "World Class" manufacturing site which had all of the "Best Practices" available, this site would be the standard of all future manufacturing sites. The project cost for the Greenfield site $200 mill Due to the GFC, this project was put on hold, the information which was gathered and recommended is now being used in a Goodman Fielder manufacturing site in Sydney.

Operations Manager at Carrara: April 1998 - July 2008 George Weston Foods I held many positions with GWF, they are listed below • Operations Manager at Carrara - Built a new management team structure and change the employment structure from 75% contract labour to all full time staff as this site did not have seasonal requirements. During this period I also worked with the new management team and implemented HACCP, WQA, SQF Accreditation & Environmental Management Plan which was required to comply with Legislation & GWF requirements. • National Technical & Operations Manager - Worked with 14 sites to ensure compliance to formulations, labour costs and development long term strategies to ensure these sites had cost reduction plans in place. Audited sites from a GMP & Environmental prospective. • NSW Technical & Environmental Manager - This included commissioning the biggest bakery in the southern hemisphere "Chullora". This required me to work with the EPA to ensure the survival of the "Golden Bell Frog". Build a production team with 90% new starters and delivery the commissioning timelines. • NSW Operational Manager - As there was a fire which destroyed GWF's biggest bakery, my role was to ensure the continuous supply of bakery products to all customers in full.
