Emerald Carrying Company has opportunities available for experienced MC Fuel drivers to join their team in Melbourne.

The successful applicants will possess extensive fuel distribution experience around Melbourne Metro and Regional areas of Victoria. An understanding of the risks and safety associated with the distribution of petroleum products and operating a Dangerous Goods vehicle,

To be considered in the role you must have the following:

•  Previous Dangerous Goods or Fuel Tanker driving experience
•  A current SLP passport
•  A current Dangerous Goods license
•  A minimum of 5 years driving experience with a MC license
• Understanding of DG, fatigue and mass regulations and emergency response requirements.
• Display a strong safety culture, understanding hazard  identification and risk assessment process
• A proactive approach to tasks and ability to interact with customers
• The ability to work in a team environment, on a rotating shift roster

You will be required to show commitment to the Emerald Carrying Company (ECC) safety standards, values and strategic intents, and be required to keep yourself, your vehicle and equipment in good order.

As part of the Emerald Carrying Company employment criteria, you’ll be required to undergo a full medical examination, including a drug and alcohol screening prior to employment and provide a current 5 year driving history check.
