Followmont Transport is a large family owned business established in 1983. Today we employ over 600 staff, utilise the service of over 150 subcontractors, own and operate a 600+ vehicle fleet throughout Queensland. Followmont Transport’s primary business is providing general freight services throughout Queensland and Northern NSW.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and reliable MR Driver to join the Gladstone operations team. This role is offered on a casual basis and is ideal for a passionate and reliable person. You will be offered good working conditions and well maintained equipment. The working hours will be varied Monday-Friday.

Your Key Responsibilities and Duties include:

• Local general freight deliveries and pick-ups

• Complete vehicle inspections including pre-start checks

• Operating a forklift to load and unload general freight when required

• Completing necessary delivery paperwork including run sheets

• Provide a high level of customer service

• Demonstrate a high level of safety in the workplace and on the road

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Current MR Licence

• Current Forklift ticket

• Demonstrated experience handing general freight

• Proven safe driving history
