About the Company:

Followmont Transport is a large family owned business established in 1983. Today Followmont Transport employs over 600 staff, utilizes the service of over 150 subcontractors, and owns and operates a 600+ vehicle fleet throughout Queensland.  Followmont Transport’s primary business is providing general freight services throughout Queensland and Northern NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

• Local general freight deliveries and pick-ups
• Operating a forklift or pallet jack to load and unload general freight
• Manual handling of parcel and general freight, hand unloading when required
• Completing required delivery paperwork including but not limited to run sheets
• Interacting with customers in a professional manner
• Demonstrate a high level of safety in the workplace and on the road

Skills and Experience:

• Current MR Licence (MR is minimum, MC is desirable)
• Current Forklift ticket
• Truck Driving Experience
• Ability to apply load restraint techniques
• Proven safe driving history
