Responsibilities/Achievements: Employed as a label printer operating a R200-Gallus printing machine. Since I
have been at P&I, I have added value to the company. My work ethic and expertise in making ready jobs with minimum waste, by way of systematic
processes, has changed the daily production from 1-3jobs to 4-7jobs per shift. I
have halved their waste and noise production by introducing under-cutting
systems to their two R200 Gallus presses and the Mark Andy XP5000 flexo-
press. I have made the label area more ergonomically efficient, while working
with the team to stream-line production procedures. I made a suggestion to the
in-house pre-press operators to make the registration marks universal on all the Blackmores varieties. This saved the printers make ready time from job to job.
