We have over 45 years’ experience delivering tailored transport solutions. Cochrane’s operate our own freight depots across the state, enabling us to provide next-day express freight services to all of South Australia (Metro and Regional), Broken Hill and Mildura.
We currently have a position available for a forklift operator/loader on our afternoon shift. This role plays a crucial part in the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics and distribution facility. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently loading vehicles for timely delivery to our customers. Shift start and finish times will vary dependant on freight volumes. Start time is usually between 2:30pm and 3pm.
- Previous loading experience in a logistics environment is essential.
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and Safe Loading Practices
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
