Worked As Driver at Heinisch Transport from January 2006 to January 2015
My work experience has been in civil construction whether it be tunnels, roadworks, bulk excavation and material deliveries.
My position at within the family business was not only operating truck and super dog but to carry out any scheduled maintenance but to also to apply any preventative maintenance.
On occasions I have been asked to operate machines and plant such as Rollers, Padfoot, Watercarts, Front end loaders etc. I do have limited experience in Excavators but I am willing to learn to operate.
About me
Work
I enjoy working hard and do pull my weight around the place, I can think well under pressure and always thinking about better ways in doing things. I have a CAN DO attitude towards anything, an ability to learn quickly and adapt to an ever changing environment. Safety is very important to me as well as following instructions given to me by my superiors, as I know that the work set out is to keep me and the people I work with safe.
Spare time
On the weekends I do enjoy going out fishing (I absolutely love it), if the weather is a bit wet or windy I’ll more than likely spend my spare time looking for a fishing spot undercover (I’d literally fish in a bucket of water if I could).
My reason for leaving the family business is due to the fact that I have had enough of being on the road, I would like to take on something else in the civil construction industry as I do have quite an extensive understanding of what is happening around me.
