Remuneration: $33.00 – $36.00 p/hour plus superannuation (dependent experience)
Hours: 8:00?am – 4:00?pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00?am – 3:30?pm Friday
Duration: 3 months with view of possible extension
**About the Job**
An opportunity is available for a Labourer (with MR License) / Forklift Driver to join a well-established Australian-owned company that manufactures, imports, and distributes products for the food service and food manufacturing industries located at Carole Park.
Known for quality and innovation, the company delivers tailored solutions to meet diverse commercial and industrial needs.
**Key Duties**
– Safely driving forklifts in a busy, tight warehouse where products are liquid and stored in containers on pallets.
– Driving Medium Rigid (MR) trucks and sometimes a manual ute to pick up and deliver goods around Greater Brisbane and Gold Coast.
– Helping with receiving and dispatching goods in the warehouse.
– Cleaning and maintaining production equipment and factory areas.
– Assisting with the production and delivery of vegetable-oil based products.
**Skills and Experience Required**
– Experience working in a factory or delivery centre, ideally in the food industry.
– Self-motivated and able to work independently with care and diligence.
– Current forklift licence and Medium Rigid (MR) truck licence.
– Willingness to obtain a food handling certificate if required in the future.
– Strong attention to detail and willingness to perform a variety of tasks, including cleaning IBCs.
