Our team is looking for a passionate and dedicated Bus Driver to join our friendly team on a part-time basis based at our village Peppertree Hill
Located in Rowville, Peppertree Hill is a warm and welcoming retirement living village set within beautifully landscaped gardens with views of the Dandenong Ranges
As a bus driver at Keyton you will support residents with local shopping trips, social outings and village transport
Reporting to the Village Manager, duties include
– Providing safe transportation of residents to local shopping centres and returning them safely to the village
– Providing exceptional customer service to residents
– Completing bus inspection form and arranging servicing and maintenance checks
– Ensuring the bus remains clean and well presented at all times
– Upholding Keyton\’s commitment to safety and excellence in service
– Providing ongoing support with general maintenance and gardening tasks throughout the village when not scheduled for driving duties
Shifts
The successful candidates will be required to work the following days and shifts
– Tuesday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
– Thursday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Who You Are
As you will be working alongside residents, a customer service focus is essential
Requirements
– A LR Drivers Licence or above
– Experience driving a bus or people mover
– Genuine interest in working with seniors and awareness of mobility, health and safety issues
– Team focused with willingness to perform other ad hoc duties when required
– Ability to identify when the bus requires maintenance
– Ability to complete basic bus maintenance tasks and servicing as required
– Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain one
Relevant internal training and inductions will be provided on site
