Bus Driver – Aged Care Outings (Monday to Friday)

Full-time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 4:30pm
Global Charter is seeking a reliable and compassionate Bus Driver to support an aged care provider with scenic and destination outings across Greater Sydney, including the South Coast and Northern Beaches.
This is a rewarding role suited to someone who enjoys working with older people and takes pride in providing safe, respectful, and high-quality transport services.
About the Role
You will be responsible for transporting aged care residents on scheduled outings using specially modified buses equipped for wheelchair access and mobility aids.
Your duties will include:
– Driving 19–30 seater buses for planned scenic and destination outings
– Assisting residents and aged care staff with embarking and disembarking from the bus, including wheelchair users
– Ensuring resident safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
– Keeping the bus clean and tidy between trips
– Transporting aged-care-related items as required
– Completing basic vehicle and trip checks
– Liaising respectfully with aged care staff and residents
Working Hours
– Monday to Friday
– 8:30am to 4:30pm
– No weekend work
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
– A full Bus Driver Licence (suitable for 19–30 seater vehicles)
– Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
– Current Police Check
– All required aged care compliance documents (or willingness to obtain)
– Experience or comfort working with elderly or vulnerable people
– A caring, patient, and professional attitude
– Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
