About the role
Reporting to the Area Operations Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring that the operation and driving of the Truck & Trailer is done in a manner which promotes quality and reliability. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Responsibilities:
– Delivering aggregates to our concrete plants and providing good customer service
– Pre-start checks and daily cleaning of the Truck & Trailer
– Operating the vehicle in a safe manner, complying with safety policies and demonstrating strong safety awareness
– Loading and unloading of aggregates
– Providing feedback to the operations and business regarding customer experience
– Operating in accordance with traffic regulations both on and off the road
About you
– Hold an HC (Heavy Combination) licence
– Experience driving heavy combination vehicles
– Strong commitment to safety, health and environmental responsibilities
– Ability to deliver product to plants efficiently and safely
– Strong customer service focus
– Well-developed communication skills
