About the business and the role
We are a family business thriving for more than 30 years. Due to rapid growth we require drivers to operate between Adelaide & Melbourne on a regular basis with near new equipment.
Good knowledge of Melbourne is essential.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Duties that will be required:
General freight with sometimes Multi pickups & delivery's
Load/unload trailers
Willing to change load requirements if needed & adapt
Load restraint as per the standard
Be able to work some weekends
Take instructions over the phone
Keeping Truck & Trailers Clean & Tidy
Skills and experience
The successful person will need to have:
A clean driving record
Long distance driving experience
Load Restraint Certificate
Forklift Licence or obtain prior to starting
Flexible work times (Some weekend work required)
Hands on experience loading & Unloading
Reliable
Honest
At least 2 contactable work related references within the last 6 months
