Job Description : JMAC Group is a freight and logistics company based in Tweed Heads. We work with our customers to provide end-to-end freight solutions, both locally and interstate. We are looking for an experienced HC driver to transport mainly bricks/blocks/sleepers from Brisbane to construction sites on the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers. Duties include but are not limited to: Day to day operation of prime mover, flat top trailer and moffett forklift Daily Prestart checks Complying with coupling & uncoupling trailers and tug test procedures Adhering to all relevant OH&S procedures / requirements Complying with Heavy Vehicle National Law and Regulations The successful applicant must have: Unrestricted HC licence with good driving record Current Forklift licence and moffett experience Construction white card Load restraint competancy A good understanding of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation A good work ethic and positive attitude Good customer service and communication skills Fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking) What we can offer you: Immediate start $40 per hour flat rate + super, paid weekly Good working conditions Modern, well maintained equipment Monday to Friday, no nights or weekends Shorthaul runs, early starts, afternoon finishes Casual role with substantial hours All applicants must be entitled to work in Australia and be prepared to undergo a criminal history check, pre-employment medical and/or drug & alcohol testing as required.
