Our Operators are an integral part of our Big N Distribution Team, ensuring our product is delivered to our customers in a competent and timely manner.
Due to continued business growth, we currently have a vacancy for an experienced and motivated Ammonia Delivery Driver to join our Gunnedah operations. You will drive vehicles to the highest standard of safety, ensuring a high level of customer service and efficiency.
To ensure success in your application, candidates must be able to demonstrate:
Deliver product to the customer efficiently, on time in a safe manner as required.
Maintain delivery equipment as required including all paperwork and computer tasks
Undertake in field or on road maintenance activities to level of capability as required.
Demonstrated hands on experience in fault finding, apt mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
Sound knowledge of the Acts and regulations regarding the safe operations of transport, e.g. Roads and Traffic Act, OH&S, EPA & Dangerous Goods Code, etc
Ideally you will possess;
MC licence
Dangerous Goods Licence
Previous experience with Dangerous Goods an advantage
Ability to deal with customers and clients
Sound mechanical background
Candidates will need to demonstrate a flexible attitude to working hours, with regular paid overtime a requirement of this role.
