Malec Brothers Transport is seeking several experienced B Double driver's to operate Log trucks from our Lara(Geelong) base to various log yards/coupes and return. (Intrastate).
river’s without specific Log Driving experience will be considered and suitable applicants be given familiarisation time.
You will be required to ‘hot-seat’ or double shift (sharing) alongside another driver with modern Kenworth equipment.
There may be varying start times with approximately 12 hour shifts and we offer competitive rates for successful applicants.
If you are a RELIABLE, self-motivated, responsible, and safe driver with a clean driving history, keen to work with good equipment, we would like to hear from you.
Requirements:
– Valid MC Licence with at least two years B double experience
– Current Medical (including drug & alcohol) or willingness to undertake
– Able to ensure trucks loaded compliantly ensuring correct strapping is in place.
– Attention to detail in completion of paperwork
– Professional attitude
– Strong safety focus
– Good communications skills
– Looks after equipment
