TRUCK DRIVER – HR LICENCE – GEELONG AND SURROUNDS RUN – CASUAL ROLE – GENERAL CARTAGE
Please note: This position is classified as a Casual position – Monday to Friday – Immediate start required.
We are a well-established, small family business and a respected transport company based in Geelong, looking for a Casual HR Transport Worker position. This is a day shift role, 8am to 12pm daily. This run is from Geelong and surrounds (North Geelong, Colac or Bellarine).
Wage Rates are within the “Road Transport Award” rate plus Super. We are looking for a person that can start immediately.
You will need to have following skills:
· Must have a HR Truck licence (with Manual truck driving experience) and show a current Vic Roads report
· Must live in Geelong
· Have a Forklift licence
· Able to lift items which could be up to 20 kgs from time to time
· Must have a good steady work history
· Reliable, punctual, excellent time management, honest and able to get on well with the customers and other staff members
· IT Literate and able to follow up with paperwork
· Excellent communication and presentation
· Must keep your truck/van clean and tidy at all times
· Able to work overtime if and when required
· Unloading and loading trucks
· Training will be provided for this run
· This person must have a great work ethic and have a pleasant manner
· MUST NOT BE ON ANY VISAS & MUST HAVE FULL AUSTRALIAN WORKING RIGHTS
· Understand OH & S when loading and unloading the truck
