We are recruiting delivery drivers who are available for morning shift starting at the depot in Fitzroy. This is an ongoing opportunity Monday to Friday.
You will be delivering parcels for Optical Couriers across the week. Training will include 2 days buddied up with an experienced driver on the road with further coaching as necessary.
Hours:
Start times are between 6:45am and 12:30pm and have shifts of 5 hours or more
Pay Rate: $28 – $30 per hour permanent part time
Candidates would be required to perform duties such as:
- Able to assist with sorting freight and loading vans (light freight up to 15kg)
- Delivery to business across Melbourne
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Driving vans – experience preferred but not essential
To be successful you must
- Must own a vehicle and insurance
- Hold a valid full driver’s license
- Have a clean driving history and be able to provide a copy to APS
- Hold a valid work visa (if applicable)
- Must have an ABN
- Be available for up to 6 hours each day Monday to Friday
- Be able to provide 100 points of ID
