**Job Description**
This hands-on role supports the Australian aviation industry by ensuring timely and accurate catering delivery to aircraft. As a member of the Airside team you will:
– Load fully stocked aircraft trolleys onto hi-lift trucks.
– Drive a short distance to the aircraft, guide the vehicle for safe approach, and load carts onto the aircraft.
– Coordinate with airline cabin crew to verify loads and remove empty carts before returning to the catering facility.

**Main Responsibilities**
– Short-distance driving and basic vehicle checks, including refuelling.
– Securely load and unload trucks and aircraft with catering, carts, and ovens, ensuring accurate counts and following up on discrepancies.
– Safely guide and position trucks in line with company, airport, and airline policies.
– Communicate and coordinate with cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery handover.
– Perform administrative documentation, reporting, and general cleaning duties as required.
**Requirements**
– Clean MR or HR driver’s licence with a minimum of 2 years road experience.
– Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
– Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster around flight schedules.
– Availability to work 38 hours per week in a full-time permanent role.
– Good verbal and written communication skills.
– Sound numeracy skills for accurate documentation and reporting.
– Neat and tidy presentation with a strong focus on hygiene.
