Kiwi Skip Bins are a leading industrial, domestic and commercial waste management services provider and are based in both Brisbane and northern Gold Coast. We service the greater region of Brisbane including Northern and Southern Suburbs of Brisbane, Ipswich, Redlands and parts of the Gold Coast.

Who Are We Looking For

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated skip bin truck driver for an immediate start with the following qualities:

• Skip Bin Truck Driving (preferable but not essential as full on the job training will be provided
• Valid manual HR Licence with a minimum of 2 years recent driving experience
• A White Card or the ability to obtain one relatively fast
• Reliable, trustworthy, punctual and enjoys truck driving and working within the waste management industry
• Great interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients in a professional manner
• Great customer service and cash handling skills
• Must obtain a National Police Check
• Must Pass Medical check
• A high level of physical fitness and the ability to perform various manual handling tasks is essential as the role is not just limited to truck driving

Key Responsibilities

• Early morning starting times to vary from about 6am
• Flexible working roster and ability to work up to 6 days per week
• Actively pursue new business opportunities including cold calls
• Prepare competitive tenders and quotations
• Research and develop new business opportunities
• Ability to work independently with very minimal supervision
• Secure loads on the truck with chains, tarps and straps
• Responsible for a safe working environment including truck cleaning, greasing, and other minor maintenance requirements
