Mactrans Heavy Haulage are looking for candidates to join our heavy haulage team. MHH are looking for candidates that have the "right" driving aptitude and have a genuine interest in the industry. This includes the understand of the importance of and the that ability to carry out basic maintenance and perform the daily checks required.
The position is fulltime and the successful applicant will be required to start in early January 2017.
You MUST have the following experience to be considered for this position.
MC Licence – minimum 5 years
Minimum 3-5 years experience with low loaders (3×8, 4×8 and platforms)
Experience in loading and unloading earthmoving equipment
The successful applicant will also have a working knowledge in the following areas:
Fatigue Management
Safe Working Methods,
Load Restraint Guidelines,
Chain of Responsibility
Good communication skills both written and verbal are essential.
The position entails interstate travel with lengthy periods away from home from time to time.
The successful applicant will be required to pass a company medical.
