Experienced Refrigerated HR/HC Driver ( Hernes Freight Service )

Job Summary:

Hernes Freight Service has excellent opportunities available for a select number of professional semi-trailer (HC) drivers. We are one of the largest family owned & operated linehaul fleets on the Eastern Seaboard with:

• A modern fleet of Western Star prime movers & FTE trailers with each Linehaul Driver allocated his own vehicle;
• Above award wages under our Employee Collective Agreement; &
• Permanent employment for all Linehaul Drivers (after completion of the probationary period).

Applicants who wish to join the Hernes Freight Service team must:

• Have a current HR/HC licence;
• Include an RTA printed driving record for a least five years;
• Have at least 2 years refrigeration experience;
• Be able to adhere to legal company trip times;
• Display patience & common sense at all times;
• Have a polite & courteous manner;
• Be  well presented & customer service orientated;
• Have a sound knowledge of all major cities; &
• Be team players
