Looking for a Fruit & Vegetable packer/Driver
A leading Melbourne Wholesale fruit and Vegetable company based in the outer east is seeking an enthusiastic and team orientated individual to join our growing business in the role of a picker/packer and driver. Shifts are from Monday to Saturday with early morning starts, your role will be to help pick and deliver customer orders on a designated run.
Your core responsibilities will be to:
-pick/pack and load delivery trucks
-deliver customer orders on a designated run. As part of a team, other duties might also entail you to work with other team members when needed to help with stock management & other warehouse duties.
Skills needed to join our team
-excellent driving skills and experience driving light commercial
-exceptional customer service skills
-reliable and able to work within a team environment and also independently
-ability to work in a fast paced environment and work within time frames.
Experience in handling fresh produce or in the fruit and veg industry is advantageous and in addition warehouse pick-packing/ delivery driving is also highly regarded.
The position is suited to someone looking for full time employment, but part time/casual and sub contractors with skills required are encouraged to apply. Suitable applicants must have a valid drivers license and appropriate work rights within the State of Victoria.
