We are currently looking for our next fuel tanker driver! Brand new truck, Full-time position, Monday to Friday

About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of fuel to various customers based in NSW. New equipment Volvo 700hp, 30m fuel tanker, loading ex Newcastle terminals delivering to Tamworth depot. This role is a full time position on permanent day shift, Monday to Friday.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Loading, transportation and delivery of fuels daily, Newcastle to Tamworth.
- Pre-loading for deliveries
- Perform daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment
- Manage fatigue and perform log book duties.
- Develop, grow and maintain good relationships with our customers.
- Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times
- Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instructions
Skills and Experience
- Valid MC licence (Minimum requirement)
- Existing experience as a professional truck driver with fuel experience preferred however training can be provided
- Dangerous Goods Licence preferred
- SLP License preferred
- Current STOLT, AMPOL and BP inductions rated highly
- Excellent driving history (traffic history report to be provided prior to commencement)
- Good customer service skills and focus, good communication skills both verbal and written and good numeracy skills
- Immediate start
You will need to be safety focused and have a comprehensive understanding of COR and road transport legislation.
A sign-on bonus of $2000 may apply if you are already inducted into major oil fuel terminals.
