Carson Transport is a well-established transport company based in Smithton, servicing all of Tasmania. We provide a quality service with attention to detail and take pride in our growing fleet. We are looking for a well-presented, energetic and committed person to join our team as a full time Driver.
POSITION VACANT – FULL TIME DRIVER (Based in Burnie/Devonport)
It is essential that this person has a current MC license, Forklift License, and is able to provide a clean 2 year driving history.
The successful applicant will also need to provide a full medical report.
The successful person will need to be able to :
• (not essential) Show completion of a fatigue management course
• meet all driving requirements with a minimum of 8 hours per day, and consistent overtime
• be able to work with self-sufficiency and meet deadlines without supervision
• maintain standards on cleanliness and truck appearances
• follow routine procedures required for safety
• record required paperwork and timesheets on time
• possess computer literacy skills
The position has a requirement to be available for Mon – Sun rosters, with rest days.
