Experienced HC driver required for daily runs between Brisbane and Northern NSW. Current forklift licence and moffett experience essential.
Job Description :
JMAC Group is a freight and logistics company based in Tweed Heads. We work with our customers to provide end-to-end freight solutions, both locally and interstate.
We are looking for an experienced HC driver to transport mainly bricks/blocks/sleepers from Brisbane to construction sites on the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Day to day operation of prime mover, flat top trailer and moffett forklift
- Daily Prestart checks
- Complying with coupling & uncoupling trailers and tug test procedures
- Adhering to all relevant OH&S procedures / requirements
- Complying with Heavy Vehicle National Law and Regulations
The successful applicant must have:
- Unrestricted HC licence with good driving record
- Current Forklift licence and moffett experience
- Construction white card
- Load restraint competancy
- A good understanding of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
- A good work ethic and positive attitude
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking)
