HC/MC Truck Driver
Thornby is a growing mixed farming business incorporating broadacre cropping, a large – scale lamb feedlot and fleet of prime movers at Sanderston, 10km south of Cambrai with a second lamb breeding property on Kangaroo Island.We are running stock crates, tippers and drop-deck trailers in both single and b-double combinations with the stock crates seeing most of the action.
This permanent full-time position is based at Sanderston and is generally a Monday-Friday role. Some overnight interstate, pastoral zone and Kangaroo Island travel will be involved but for the most part you will be home most nights.
Some key attributes we are looking for are:
- Good sheep handling skills and temperament
- Mechanical knowledge
- Confidence behind the wheel
- Ability to join in our team environment
