HR-HC Driver Required ( NTFS )

NTFS, a division of K & S Freighters who have been providing transport and logistics solutions to the Australian industry for 60 years are looking to increase their Darwin operations. Currently an opportunity exists for an experienced driver to join our team in Darwin.

Duties include driving, rail/wharf pick ups, fork loading/unloading, full, LCL and manual deliveries as required.

Responsibilities:

• Able to complete local deliveries in a HR or HC vehicle
• Drivers with MC licence are encouraged to apply too
• Able to perform loading and unloading tasks as required using forklift or possibly hand unload
• Able to secure loads using load restraint tools and pre-start vehicle checks
• Experience with general freight, packaged and chilled goods an advantage

Selection Requirements:

• Previous transport experience
• Demonstrate a keen interest in transport and logistics
• Excellent time management skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
• Must be available for weekend and early morning starts
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Provide a driver history report

Licences:

• Truck licence, minimum HR licence
• Forklift Licence
