Boss Global Logistics has multiple opportunities for a HR Truck Driver with great knowledge of Brisbane metropolitan region. Should you be successful, there is opportunity for an immediate start. The roles which are located at our customers’ sites which are in Yatala (2 Roles), Underwood (1 Role) and Berrinba (1 Role).
Underwood
We are looking for drivers that can operate at a high level and deliver consignments in a friendly and efficient manner. You will start and finish each shift at our customer\’s site (our Head Office is located at Loganholme, but our trucks stay at the customers sites). The work attracts consistent hours, working weekdays starting at approximately 7:00am each day. You will work 40+ hours a week.
You will be driving a tautliner with tail-lift delivering general freight throughout the Toowoomba area. You will start the day at Underwood (At our customers site), travel to Toowoomba (in the truck) where you will complete 6 – 10 deliveries and you will end your day back at our customers site in Underwood. You need to be comfortable with operation of a pallet jack. The role is a combination of pallet jack on/ off and (very rarely) hand deliveries. Please only apply if you\’re comfortable doing deliveries in a truck and lifting and moving parcels up to 25kg.
Yatala
In this role, you will be driving an 8 tonne, 14 pallet tautliner with tail-lift delivering carpet and general freight to businesses throughout the region. Most work is forklift on / off with minimal hand load / unload. You will need to be comfortable with operation of tautliner curtains. Approximately starting at 7am.
Berrinba
In this role you will be driving a 12 pallet tautliner with tail-lift delivering small break down of freight and general freight to business throughout the region. Most work is forklift on/off, Pallet Jack on/off and minimal hand load/unload. You will be starting and finishing work at our customer’s site. Approximately starting between 6am -7 am working 10 hrs daily.
The successful applicant will need:
- Minimum of 2 years open HR Class licence or above
- Great Knowledge of the Brisbane area and surrounds
- Physically fit and strong
- A ‘can do’ attitude
- Australian citizen/Resident or have Full Work Rights
- Steel Capped Boots / shoes
- High Visibility Vest
- Strong customer service focus
- Clear Criminal history
