Job Prerequisites Requirements:

· HR Truck Driver Licence, forklift licence should have their own transport and have had experience in the manufacturing, building or warehousing industries.

· Be reliable, hardworking and honest, be good with people, presentable and have a good grasp of the English language.

· Be able to drive a truck with a Road Ranger Gearbox.

· Have the Truck Driving and loading experience and knowledge of how loads are tied and lashed for safe cartage.

· Have had the truck driving experience in the Melbourne Metro area, local knowledge essential.

· Be able to use hand tools and work either independently or as part of a team.

Truck driving at this stage will be four to five days per week the remainder you would be working within our operations as a labourer and yard person.

Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift, sorting scrap metal weighing bins and preparing loads for delivery, dealing and serving yard customers.

This position is a full time, the winning applicant will start on a 3 month probation term, all going well if both parties are happy then the winning applicant will go onto full time.

As the business grows this position may also lead to a full time truck driving and most likely will as we currently use a transport company to do jobs our two current trucks cannot complete!!
