We are seeking a Depot Driver - HC Licence, based in Isis Central, NSW.
Position Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to operate HC classed trucks for cartage of sugar cane.
Where appropriate licences have held the operation of tractors, forklifts and any other associated equipment may be required
Trucks and any other associated equipment are to be operated in a manner which ensures that product is transported as directed and in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
This will be achieved by:
Driving in accordance with road rules and having due regard for other road users;
Carrying out instructions given by the Depot Supervisor or in his absence the Fleet Controller; and
Adherence to all Group policies, procedures and safe work practices.
Qualifications/Experience:
Essential
Excellent driving skills
A holder of a licence class suitable for the vehicle/equipment required to operate a semi-combination
Knowledge of Transport Safety Regulations including Fatigue Management
Must be able to pass a company medical
Must be able to pass company inductions
Previous experience in driving large vehicles and/or in heavy machinery operations is preferred
Desirable
Effective communication skills
Local area knowledge
Some mechanical knowledge
