Ivy Recruitment is seeking both licensed and experienced Linehaul MC Drivers and Changeover MC Drivers for refrigerated freight runs based out of Prestons, NSW and Erskine Park, NSW.

The Company
Our client is a nation-wide refrigerated freight and logistics company providing temperature-controlled delivery and warehousing services to clients across Australia.
As part of a recent increase in freight movements, our client is now seeking both licensed and experienced Linehaul MC Drivers and Changeover MC Drivers for refrigerated freight runs based out of Prestons, NSW and Erskine Park, NSW.
Rate of Pay:
- Per/km rate of $0.5302 per km.

Skills & experience required to be successful:
- Unrestricted MC (Multi Combination) Truck Licence
- Linehaul / Changeover Drivers must have a minimum 12 months MC Linehaul / Changeover driving experience
- MUST have B-Double Experience
- MUST have min 1 yr (MC) Road Ranger experience on Australian roads
- National Police check (less than 6mth old)
- Current Heavy Vehicle drivers medical (less than 6mth old)
- Must Pass Drug & Alcohol screening
- Ability to manage Fatigue / Fitness for duty prior to commencement of shift
- Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of the transport industry, CoR and load restraint.
- Safe Operation of a heavy vehicle & committed to Driver Safety
- Able to demonstrate a strong focus on WHS
- Ability to work unsupervised with a strong ability to meet deadlines
- Great customer service & communication skills
- Must be prepared to work weekends & Public Holidays when rostered
- Must be confident in working within cold chain compliant conditions
- Experience in refrigerated transport is preferred, but a willingness to learn and an appreciation of the time sensitive nature of refrigerated transport is essential.
Successful applicants will be required to complete a Company Induction – including a Driver\’s medical with alcohol & drug screen. Our client may also request a copy of your driving history.
