Due to a company expansion, there is a Position Available for a Livestock Transport Driver to start immediately
We are one of Australias premium beef and lamb production operations. Operating out of the South West slopes of NSW. We have a modern Mack truck - best of its line for the right person to operate.
Due to a company expansion, there is a Position Available for a Livestock Transport Driver to start immediately.Operating modern machinery, the role will be delivering stock to and from Sale yards, Company properties, processing plants and feedlots throughout the Eastern States of Australia. In down times, there will also be opportunity to participate in general farm hand duties across the Company properties.Reporting to the General Manager of Pastoral Operations the role is an exciting opportunity to join one of Australia’s premium beef and lamb production operations.
Task & Responsibilities
-Commitment to Company policies;Staff, WH&S and Animal Welfare
-Willingness to be part of our great, young and forward-thinking team
-Flexibility in work plan, there may be weekend work required at certain times of the
year
-Client relationship maintenance
-Maintaining the clean and tidy nature of our machinery
-Have pride in the Company and role
-Maintain a clear and accurate record keeping system; both Company records as well as National Driver Work Diary as per NHVR regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
-Australian Multi Combination(MC) license
-2 years RTA print out to be included when resumes submitted to the Company
-Fatigue Management course (or willingness to complete)
-Livestock handling and transport experience is not compulsory however it will be looked upon favorably.
