Local HC / MC Truck Driver (Refrigerated) – ( BMR Logistics )

We are looking for a fulltime local HC / MC truck driver to join our afternoon team for an immediate start.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Refrigerated deliveries around Townsville – Dock to Dock
- Co-Ordination of Trailer docking and following of load plans
- Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork
- Working closely with small Depot for the accurate loading, unloading and transportation of freight
- Ability to meet all Truck Safe requirements and regulations and State Road law compliance.
- Ensure all driver “Chain of Responsibility” is met
- General yard/warehouse duties as required
- Weekly truck upkeep, including washing inside and out
About you:
- HC/MC licence
- Valid Traffic history printout – min 3 years
- Be Physically fit and able to pass Truck safe driver medical including Drug & Alcohol test
- Ability to meet deadlines and Time manage in a fast paced environment
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
- The ability to follow instruction from the Supervisor and work independently
- Good communication and professional interaction with customers
To be successful, you will need a valid HC/ MC license, an eye for detail, and experience with safe load and unload restraint procedures. Above Award Wages.
