LONG DISTANCE DRIVER-31533 ( Pilbara Highway Hallage )

Job Summary:

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY! We are seeking a driver for our Long Distance Karratha - Pilbara - Perth Run to commence as soon as available.

Duties include:

•  Picking up and Delivering freight to customer addresses along a designated route this includes general goods, palletised and non palletised, boats and trailers.
•  Long distance driving/ towing following fatigue management and all road rules
•  Delivering an unforgettable customer service experience – we pride ourselves in personal interaction and keeping our customers happy
•  Keeping your vehicle well maintained and looked after including detailing etc.
•  Abiding by all company policies and procedures

The job info:

•  It is usually 4-5 days to complete a full run, about 60 hours total.
•  Couriers in both Perth and Karratha to assist in small pickups and deliveries to expedite the service
•  $40 / Hour (full time) or $45 / Hour (Casual) above award rates + superannuation
•  Meal Allowances + other incentives
•  2017 Hino 500 Series equipped with patech body and 2 tonne tail lift. Sleep cab with fridge and power supplies. equipped with UHF, breakdown kit, Bullbar and Spotlights. 4.8T towing capacity.

Required Skills:

•  5 year’s experience in long distance driving
•  5 years experience in towing trailers/ boats
•  5 years experience driving pantech trucks (small and large)
•  2 years HR experience (HR-A licence and above required)
•  Experience in loading & packing (load restraint advantage)
•  Fatigue Management
•  Able to pass commercial medical, D&A’s
