Cahill Transport is a family owned transport company and a general logistics service provider with strategically placed depots across Australia. We provide a quality range of services including interstate and local transportation, warehousing and wharf cartage.
We are currently seeking experienced Newcastle based MC drivers to join our organisation on a Part-time basis. You will be required to do set change-overs from Newcastle to Coffs Harbour with set departure times of 8pm nightly.
Requirements:
– Current MC license
– Basic Fatigue Management accreditation preferred
– Extensive knowledge of transport compliance regulations
– Current license history report
– Clean driving record
– Flexibility with working varied hours if needed
– Clean and tidy presentation
– Team player with good communication skills
– Will have an understanding of Work Health & Safety and Chain of Responsibility
Responsibilities:
– Safely transporting freight to and from required destinations
– Perform a pre-trip inspection on prime mover & trailers
– Complete and check required paperwork e.g. run sheets, change over sheet and load plans
