S. Kidman & Co Ltd, one of Australia's most respected and successful beef producers, is seeking a full-time, experienced MC Road Train Driver for Helen Springs Station, situated 140km North of Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory. The position is available for immediate commencement.
Reporting to the Station Manager, your main duties include operating the property Road Train to transport cattle both on and off the station and carrying out maintenance of the road train. Other duties include assisting with livestock operations and general station activities.
You must have a current MC licence with a minimum of 2 years' road train experience and a strong commitment to animal health and workplace safety. Previous experience in transporting livestock is desirable, along with general machinery maintenance and basic fatigue management knowledge and/or certificate. Experience in welding would be advantageous.
