Job Description:
We are seeking motivated and reliable On-Call Delivery Agents to join our team. The ideal candidates must have a cargo van or a three-ton ute and will be responsible for delivering goods to and from the airport or interstate.
Key Responsibilities:
– Pick up and deliver packages and goods to designated locations in a timely manner
– Ensure the safe handling and transportation of all items
– Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures
– Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
– Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
– Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Requirements:
– Access to a cargo van or a three-ton ute must be in good working condition
– Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
– Previous delivery or logistics experience is preferred but not required
– Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25 kg
– Must be able to do interstate deliveries
