Relief Driver / Trainer - Jandakot WA Our client is currently seeking an experienced Relief Driver / Trainer in Jandakot Pay Rate: $43.49 per hour (casual) About the role This position is suited to an experienced waste industry professional who is confident operating a variety of heavy vehicles and enjoys supporting the development of other drivers. You will provide relief coverage across multiple routes while assisting with driver training and assessments. Key responsibilities Safely operate a variety of waste collection vehicles across multiple routes Provide relief coverage across different trucks areas and service runs Train mentor and assess new and existing drivers Adapt to changing operational requirements and priorities Maintain compliance with safety transport and company procedures Complete vehicle inspections and required documentation accurately Essential requirements Minimum 1 year experience in the waste management industry Experience operating a variety of heavy vehicle and truck types Previous experience training and mentoring drivers Strong commitment to safety compliance and customer service Excellent reliability punctuality and attendance record Ability to adapt to different routes vehicles and operational requirements Availability to work 8-12 hour shifts with start times between 12:00am and 6:00am Current HR Licence or higher If you have the required waste industry experience and are looking for a long-term opportunity with a reputable employer we'd like to hear from you Send your resume to tia.meldrum@adecco.com.au
These positions will see you working within a brand new busy Distribution Centre/Warehouse loading and unloading trucks for a well known, instantly recognisable company.
This is a fast pace working environment and the perfect place to display your efficiency and experience using a Counterbalance (LF) Forklift on brand new equipment.

What You Will Need:
Hold a current LF (Forklift) Licence
Your own reliable transport to get to and from work – essential!
Have experience loading and unload trucks
Have experience and understanding of load distribution
Have a can do attitude
Fit, Energetic and Enthusiastic
Experience working in a team environment
Be available for ongoing Afternoon Shift
