Sugar Cane Haul Out Position – Seasonal Full-Time – Moore Park Beach
Our client is currently seeking expressions of interest for Sugar Cane Haul Out positions for this year’s upcoming sugar season.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a busy harvest season with approximately 40,000 tonnes of cane to be hauled.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a tractor with a 6-tonne side tipping trailer bin to haul sugarcane from the harvester to the siding.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure smooth operation.
• Work during weekdays and potentially weekends as required.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with industry standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Requirements:
• Reliable transport to and from the work site.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
• Prior haul out experience (preferred, but not compulsory).
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring safety and cleanliness on the job.
• Must be able to commit for the season.
