Full Time Permanent, Road Train Operator

Toll NQX is a division of the Toll Group and a leading supplier of long-distance road transport services, operating throughout Australia. Toll NQX owns and operates one of the largest and most modern fleet in the country, with a broad customer base with a high exposure to the mining and resources sector.

Due to expanding operations in the Northern Territory we are seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced road train operators ready for an immediate start.

Reporting directly to the Manager – Straightline & Project Services in Darwin, the successful applicants will enjoy the following benefits:

Our operators are a critical part of our business and it is expected that as the successful candidate you will have:

• A minimum of five (5) years of on-road experience in a multi combination environment.
• Bulk dangerous goods licensing will be essential
• 100% commitment to operate within Toll’s fatigue management framework with full observance of all statutory requirements for logbook, speeding and fatigue management policies.
• Toll NQX will operate this contract under Basic Fatigue Management practices.

Applicants must be well-presented, possess a clean driving record and be willing to undergo full medical assessment prior to commencement. Good interpersonal skills and a focus on customer service are of equal importance.

A background in long distance and remote haulage will be well regarded and a rounded mechanical aptitude is expected.

A market leading remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicants.
