Job 1. Laverton North vacancy for a full-time crane truck delivery driver employed by Geelong Logistics based at our client’s facility in Laverton North. Trip takes 40 minutes max from Maccas Norlane
The position involves doing multi-drop crane truck deliveries of metal building products including roofing.
• Over Award wages, excellent conditions and bonuses.
• Monday to Friday day shift, with regular overtime.
• 6am start with a pre-loaded single multi-drop run per day.
• Modern MR auto truck fitted with front mounted crane.
• Crane does not require a license, but a license is an advantage.
• Crane training/Crane Certificate of Competency will be provided to the successful candidate.
Geelong based jobs are doing local multi-drop deliveries for regular Geelong clients.
The basic requirements for all jobs are:
• Reliability.
• Good communication/people skills.
• Being fit, agile and able to do some manual handling.
• Safe driving record/skills.
• Safe load restraint skills.
• Safe work practices.
• Able to follow instructions and work practices/procedures.
• Holding a minimum MR Truck license.
• Proficient use of a smart phone, Apps, and email.
• Looking for long term employment with us.
• It is not a pre-requisite, however holding or being prepared to self-fund a Vehicle Loading Crane license, would be viewed very favourably. (Cost of self-funding a crane license will be reimbursed after a qualifying period).
