Truck & Dog Driver ( ECS Civil Services )

We are seeking an experienced truck and dog driver to start in January with our team. Trucks are late model Scania's under a services maintenance contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Delivering Quarry Products to sites to the Brisbane, Logan, Gold Coast, Ipswich and Moreton Bay Regions
· Ensuring that loads are secure and safe, and all correct processes and protocols are followed.
· Carry out all duties diligently and safely, safety being your number one focus.
· Complete and supply mandatory run sheet information in the format required.
· Have a good understanding and knowledge of the National Heavy Vehicle Regulations (NHVR), Chain of Responsibility (COR) Regulations and Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) hours.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test and supply or be willing to supply a pre-employment medical check.
· Provide a copy of your driving history and recent medical certificate, fit for work.
· Provide the years of experience you have as a HC driver with referees.
· Have good written and verbal communication skills.
· Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude towards all work, site personnel, clients and fellow employees.
· BFM accredited or willing to attain.
· Take pride and care in the vehicle provided.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Previous truck driving experience in the civil construction industry with a HC/MC licence
· Experience in Truck & Dog operation
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Australian manual transmission driver’s licence (Preferred)
