Truck Driver ( Stockmaster )

Job Summary:

Stockmaster is recruiting for Livestock Truck Drivers to deliver livestock to sale yards, feedlots, meat processing plants and farmers throughout the eastern states of Australia.

Key aspects of the role

• Flexible work plan which results in some weekend work
• A commitment to work health and safety
• Strong ability to work as part of a team
• Maintain a pleasant and considerate manner with clients
• To be considerate of the well being of livestock being transported
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the prime movers
• Ensure that any defect or potential defect with trucks and trailers is reported and recorded in a timely manner
• Make clear and accurate entries on job records and daily driver work diary

 

Qualifications

• HC or MC  truck licence

 

Desirables

• Basic Fatigue Management
• Previous experience carting and handling livestock
