Highway Truck Training is a well-established and growing truck driver training company committed to producing safe, confident, and industry-ready drivers. Due to increasing demand, we are seeking an experienced Trainer & Assessor to join our team in Bunbury.
Expected salary: $50 – $55 per hour
Key responsibilities
– Deliver practical, hands-on training for HR, HC and MC licence students
– Conduct competency-based assessments in line with regulatory standards
– Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance and best driving practices
– Support and mentor students to achieve confident, job-ready outcomes
Requirements (essential)
– Unrestricted HR, HC or MC licence
– TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
– Instructor’s Licence (Blue Book)
– Assessor’s Licence for assessment duties
– Minimum 1 to 3 years relevant industry experience
– Strong communication and people skills
– Solid knowledge of road safety and compliance standards
– Valid working rights in Australia
